WCCW News for May 2025
Hello WCCW! We’re your new newsletter editors and can’t wait to share all the exciting details that are in store for you! Here’s a little bit about us:
Conference Time is Almost Here!
It’s theme reveal week - stay tuned…
We're so excited to launch the WCCW conference in Southern California at our new venue, Fullerton Free Church (in Orange County, near Disneyland). This conference is a great value for the cost. You can expect powerful keynote messages, hands-on workshops, and lots of opportunities to make new friends. Whether you're a seasoned author or you've just picked up the pen, our conference is for you. With our focus on interaction and the option to get coaching on your work, you won’t be anonymous here! We hope you'll join us October 24-25 (with optional pre-conference day Oct 23).
Check out our recently updated website with the latest information on workshops, speakers, appointments, and much more!
Every year, we choose a theme for our conference, and our 2025 theme reveal is this Friday, May 16. Make sure you've followed us on Facebook and Instagram to see the teasers we’ll be posting each day this week. Here's your first hint:

BIO: Amanda Wright lives in picturesque Canada where she can be found riding her horse and slaving away like a Red Bull inebriated beaver crafting new tales of adventure and romance to the glory of her heavenly father. She was honored to be a finalist in the 2023 ACFW First Impressions contest in the Young Adult category.

BIO: Josiah Nuñez is the pen name of a real boy who lives in the same city he was born in, except for when his family goes camping and he lives in the woods. Josiah’s safe food is quesadillas, and he likes drawing cartoons, playing the trumpet, and learning how to be a journalist from his Mami.
